Holy Spirit Farm is happy to host school, rehabilitation, and other groups wanting to be around horses for a few hours to a whole day. We offer several different packages for our group trips and can make slight changes to those to best fit our customers' needs, as we understand that some groups require individuality. School Groups
Option 1: A 3 hour field trip
Option 1 is a 3 hour field trip in which students begin by learning about the horse (breeds, anatomy, and safety guidelines for the day). This is followed by a separation into stations; a grooming station, a tacking station, a training station, and a pony ride station. Students then spend the remaining time
$15 per student up to 30 students.
Option 2: 5 hour field trip
Option 2 is best suited as an all day trip. This program begins similarly to Option 1, but with a parade of breeds. The students are then separated into stations (same as Option 1) but with the added stations of mucking and cleaning. Lunch (cheese pizza and water) is provided by the barn and precedes the final part of the day; a riding discipline demonstration. Students can accrue community service hours throughout this day.
