General Volunteers & Students
At Holy Spirit Farm, we love our community and we love when it grows. As we expand and more horses and ponies frequent the property, we need more people to help! Whether you're looking for a fun time, just want to be around horses again, need community service hours, or are a lesson student, volunteering at HSF is always a rewarding and fun experience. If interested in being part of one of the coolest horse groups around, contact us to schedule a time to come out and meet us.
We do expect all of our volunteers to adhere to all barn rules which are posted around the barn and under the 'Rescue' page. Volunteers (if CURRENT STUDENTS) can accrue free ride time. Please note that outstanding volunteers are there more than one day a week, pick up feedings, and generally help out around the farm on a fairly regular basis. If interested in helping in other ways, consider joining one of our committees. |
Girl Scout and Boy Scout Troops
Are you looking for an activity for your local chapter/troop? Then look no further! HSF offers Volunteer Days to both scout groups. We can accommodate up to twenty kids at one time for volunteering purposes but request that troop leaders remain for the duration of the event. The number of hours is subject to change depending on what needs to be done around the farm, but usually lasts for at least two hours. To learn more or to schedule your troop, please contact us today.
Probation and Emotional Support
We believe that horses are healing and offer community service hours to those on probation or in emotional support programs as well. While we do request that a chaperone is present for emotional support patients, our soon-to-be-PATH certified instructors are trained in how to handle a variety of situations. If you or someone you know would be interested in this program, please contact the barn to schedule time to volunteer to.
